    4. Gehu Halwa recipe

    Ingredients

    1 bowl of gehu

    1.5 bowl of sugar

    1.5 bowl of ghee

    1 glass of warm water or milk

    Chopped Dry fruits (choice)

    Preparations

    Preparation of soaking gehu



    Take one bowl of gehu and put in deep container. Wash properly so all the wastage product present remove it. Then fill the container half of the water and soak the gehu for 4 to 5 hours or overnight.

    Note: Soaking process is do because of gehu particles raise, when halwa prepare more flavors are coming.

    Preparation of grinding the gehu



    After 5 hours gehu take proper shape and drain it. Put in the grinder and grind it. Keep in mind that when grind it, less water used. Because when grind it, finely grinded but when foment process take place, it takes more time. So, preventing this situation use less water.

    Take one pan, put in high flame. Then add ghee and wait for melt. After melting, slow down the flame and put all the grinded stuff. Start foment the stuff using spatula. Continuously stir the process until it converted into brown. When the process going on, smell raise and give the indication of, I am ready for processing next step.

      Preparation of final stage


    Now your all stuff converted into brown, this stage adds ½ class of warm water or milk. And stir continuously, if texture is thick after putting ½ class of water then add ¼ glass of water. Now, it takes particular consistency, then add sugar and stir it. During stirring process sugar is melted, then close the flame and put the chopped dry fruits over the halwa. Now your nutrition full halwa ready to serve.
