to make Rava Idli
1 Bowl of suji

fermentation

curd

water (add water slowly-slowly)

for preparing batter
Take one
bowl add Suji, curd and water. Mix well. Leave for 2 to 3 hours so batter take
proper fermentation.
Direction for putting batter in idli mould
Take idli mould grease with oil and put 1 table spoon of batter in mould.
Direction for preparing idli
Take steamer put in high flame, when water temperature increases, put
idli stand on steamer. Wait for 10 minutes, your is idli ready to serve.
This is the recipe of idli prepare using rava. With the time interval of
1-hour (soaking and preparing) rava idli is ready to eat. Today learn one more
recipe of idli which is prepare along the urad daal and rice. The ratio is 1: 3,

Ingredients
1 small bowl of urad daal
3 small bowls of rice
1 tea spoon of fenugreek seeds
½ tea spoon of baking soda
Salt according to taste
Preparations
Preparation for soaking urad daal and rice
Take one bowl, add urad daal and wash it. Then, again soak for clean
water by adding fenugreek seeds for 5 to 6 hours or overnight.
Now, take one more bowl, wash the rice and soak with clean water. Then
add clean water soak same hours of urad daal.
Preparation for preparing batter
After soaking, drain all the ingredients. Then put in grinder and grind
it. Make the smooth batter and add salt. Then mix well.
Note: Do not through urad daal water, used that water for preparing batter.
Preparation for making idli
After prepared batter, prepare the stemmer on high flame. Take idli tray,
grease with oil and put the batter on it. Then stemmer goes to boiling stage,
put the idli fill tray in the stemmer and cover with lid. Then water for cooked
well. It takes around 15 minutes to prepare. Then leave the tray and take out
the idli from the tray. Now idli ready to serve.
